Formación académica: University degree in Geology (minimum BSc)
Requisitos:
- Minimum of 15 years diversified experience in mineral exploration, preferably for copper in South America
- Professional geologist with broad exploration experience for a variety of deposit types in different geological terranes
- Possess senior project management experience.
- Experience in planning and managing exploration programs from grassroots generative programs through to resource definition drilling.
- Experience with porphyry copper and related deposit types; experience with other commodity/deposit types considered favourable
Funciones:
- Leadership, strategy development, project management, planning, organisation and execution of Las Bambas exploration programmes.
- Develop exploration model for skarn and porphyry-style deposits and apply this to mine tenements to identify targets
- Develop strong working relationships with MTS, Permitting, Supply, Community/Stakeholder Relations teams to maximize success of the exploration effort.
- Building a high quality exploration team with the emphasis on training and development of National staff.
